**NOTE: This is for the KNITTING PATTERN, not the socks themselves**

This listing is for the Shamrocks Socks PATTERN which is a toe-up sock pattern using 2 different fingering weight yarns for Womens size Medium & Large.

Shamrock Socks is a fun and festive toe-up sock pattern using two fingering weight yarns on two circular needles. These socks are Fair-Isle knitted and feature a repeating panel of shamrocks on the front. The panels are separated by two rows of alternating yarn, while the foot features an alternating color pattern from the end of the toe increase to the short-row heel. The pattern requires wrapping stitches in the back for any row with more than 4 consecutive stitches of the same color.

Available in Medium and Large width, this colorwork pattern uses 2 fingering weight yarns on 2 circular needles in a charted pattern. Suitable for advanced beginner to intermediate sock knitters familiar with sock construction and colorwork/stranded techniques.

  • Needles: Two circular 2.75mm needles or whichever size to achieve gauge. (I used 2 - 16" circulars)
  • Yarn for Medium: One 50 gram ball of fingering weight yarn in a Main Color, and one 50 gram ball in Contrast Color.
  • Yarn for Large: Two 50 gram balls of MC, one 50 gram ball in CC.

Pattern includes color charts for the instep and foot. The pattern is a downloadable digital file in .pdf format.
