FILMSTRIPS was inspired by an exhibit at the Seattle Art Museum and my visiting parents thought it was pretty cool how the artist took these rolls of film and HANDPAINTED (!) each one in different colors and patterns. Dad sent me the photo with a yarn colorway in mind. After seeing the image, I did get nostalgic of the days of 35mm camera film that I would have to take into the drugstore to get developed into prints :)
