In the winter months, oranges are a favorite fruit! Along with the popular navel variety, I love cara cara and blood oranges with their wonderful red color! (As a fun story, when I was a wee Girl Scout, I had a vibrant orange sleeping bag for camping trips. It was absolutely lovely and warm, though really slippery to roll up!)
