In my mid-20s, I traveled through the fantastic country of Italy for an entire month … by myself! It was an amazing trip and unforgettable experience. During my journey, I visited the legendary city of Venice and some of the outer islands. Torcello is a short boat ride away and where I photographed various bridges and monuments - with one in particular that resonated with me. It was a simple stone bridge without railings and had a sharp arch over a small patch of water. The cables in this pattern represent the water with each base of the bridge on either side.
These are stranded knitted socks and the pattern is suitable for advanced beginner to intermediate knitters. Pattern includes color charts for the instep and foot. The pattern is in digital (.pdf) form form and is available for instant download.
