During a family vacation to the beautiful Outer Banks area of North Carolina, we visited the iconic Bodie Island Lighthouse in Nags Head. It was a gorgeous summer day with blue skies and wispy clouds with a slight breeze.

Seeing as I love doing self-striping yarns, this was a perfect colorway to create. 

(In case you need a sock pattern, my Wicked Socks pattern was created with a black/white skein and contrasting color.)
