KNITTING PATTERN for Flag Socks: Canada - Charted Colorwork Sock pattern - digital download
$4.99
**NOTE: This is for the KNITTING PATTERN, not the socks themselves**
This listing is for the Flag Socks: Canada PATTERN which is a toe-up charted sock pattern using 2 circular needles for size Med and Large.
During the 2014 Winter Olympics, I was inspired by the opening ceremonies featuring all the competing countries, and decided to create these socks and work on them during the games. FLAG SOCKS: CANADA feature the Canadian flag, silhouette maple leaf and Canada text on the front. Since the flag and silhouette maple leaf section are the same number of rows, you can use them interchangeably! Knit the pattern as charted, or just the flag or the silhouette on the front of the socks. The foot and leg back feature a striped pattern. This color charted, toe-up pattern can be knit in sizes medium and large.
These are Fair-Isle knitted socks and the pattern is suitable for intermediate knitters, familiar with stranded colorwork techniques and toe-up sock construction. Pattern includes color charts for the instep and foot. The pattern is in digital (.pdf) form form and is available for instant download.
