About the pattern:
Hotels & resorts are often great places to find interesting motifs and imagery. On one such visit to Hawaii, I saw great patterns all over the resort and returned home with inspiration from with to draw upon. Some of these motifs were very strong and masculine in design and since Kane (kah-nay) means "man" or "boy" in the Hawaiian language, the title seemed fitting!

These are Fair-Isle knitted socks and the pattern is suitable for advanced beginner to intermediate knitters. Pattern includes color charts for the instep and foot. The pattern is in digital (.pdf) form and is downloadable.
