KNITTING PATTERN for BoardGame Socks - Charted Sock pattern digital download
**NOTE: This is for the KNITTING PATTERN, not the socks themselves**
This listing is for the BoardGame Socks PATTERN which is a toe-up sock pattern using fingering weight yarn for size Medium & Large.
BoardGame Socks is a charted toe-up sock pattern knitted on two circular needles. A simple pattern with 2 cables, these socks are great for beginning knitters who want to try easy left and right cables.
For those of us who have played the board game "Chutes and Ladders" from which this pattern takes its inspiration, I hope these socks bring forth happy childhood memories of 'sliding down chutes' and 'climbing up ladders'!
This pattern is suitable for advanced beginner knitters familiar sock knitting construction, toe-up sock techniques, cable stitches and basic knitting stitches. The pattern includes color charts for the instep and foot. The pattern is in digital (.pdf) form and is available for instant download.
